Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Clean India Mission and abbreviated as SBA or SBM for “Swachh Bharat Mission” is a national campaign by the Government of India, covering 4,041 statutory cities and towns, to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country. The campaign was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself cleaned the road. Modi said that the best memorial to Mahatma Gandhi would be to achieve a “Clean India” by 2019, his 150th birth anniversary. It is India’s biggest ever cleanliness drive and 3 million government employees and school and college students of India participated in this event.

BUT is that it….!!

I think we need to realize what lacks ….which is not making any difference !!. There are people who dreams of living in a developed country just because it is clean and they would enjoy a great life…..or you can say a luxurious life.

Everybody thinks of living in a smart country. But are we serving our country like smart citizens….!!!!!! Here we make the mistake.

Do you remember how many times you have picked the papers or wrappers from your way..??? Or how many times you have thrown the wrappers on the road..! Well, i guess second one is easy to remind.

So guys, its my request to the youth to realize our mistake and let us contribute in making India a smart city.

Gandhiji believed cleanliness next only to Godliness, let’s pledge today to convert cleanliness into a national passion.
